Consultations

Consultations take place in your own home where you and your dog(s) feel most relaxed. Everyone who lives with you or has regular contact with your dog is invited.

As a guide, consultations usually take between two and four hours, but there's no set time limit. Every dog is different and every owner is different, so the consultation will be adapted to meet you and your dog's specific needs.

During the consultation, you will understand why your dog behaves in certain ways and what it is thinking. You'll learn simple Amichien® bonding techniques to communicate with your dog so that it is able to stop any undesirable behaviour of its own free will.

Changes often occur during the visit, so you can see that the method works, that there are no tricks and that it's something you can do yourself.

At the end of the consultation you'll have a personalised action plan to remind you of the main points.

Following the consultation, you are encouraged to complete a feedback form and return it directly and confidentially to Jan Fennell. This helps Jan to monitor the quality of service provided and helps both Jan and Jo in their work.

Your consultation is just the start of an ongoing process. Once the initial visit is over, unlimited back up is available by phone or email if you have any questions, require further advice or just need reassurance.

A consultation, including unlimited support, costs £160, plus return travel from Chesterfield to your home at 40p per mile. A 10% discount on the consultation fee is available to Derbyshire Gold Card holders. There is no extra charge for weekend consultations.
