My name is Jo Armstrong. I'm one of Jan Fennell's fully qualified associate dog listeners. I hold both the Certificate of Canine Communication and the Certificate of Advanced Canine Communication.

I am based in Derbyshire but will travel to neighbouring counties such as South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Leicestershire, and elsewhere in the UK.

I have been involved with dogs for many years, competing at agility and breed shows, including Crufts. I've handled my own and other people's dogs to top awards, including Kennel Club Challenge Certificates, best of breed, group wins and best in show.

I am a committee member of a Kennel Club registered breed club and an active member of several other KC registered dog clubs. I'm a breed judge and a dog agility trainer.

I live with three dogs. One used to be aggressive and was terrified of fireworks. These problems couldn't be resolved by using 'traditional' dog training techniques, so I looked for something else and found Jan Fennell. My consistent use of her Amichien® bonding methods have meant his behaviour has improved significantly and he was so relaxed last bonfire night that he slept through most of the fireworks. Another of my dogs came to live with me when she was four years old, this being her third home. Thanks to Amichien® bonding, she was completely accepted by the rest of the pack, settled in quickly and is now enjoying life to the full. After only two months in her new home, she had a major success at a championship breed show and continues to do well at agility.
